If you cannot attend but you wish to have your vote counted, please consider asking another member to represent your participation through a proxy vote. Proxy forms must be completed, signed and returned to the IWCR secretary before the start of the AGM. In order to arrange a proxy vote, please register to attend the event but select "Vote by Proxy" under Method of Attendance on the registration form. Click here to download and complete a proxy form.

About the AGM
The constitution of the International Women's Club of Riga (IWCR) requires an Annual General Meeting (AGM) each year. During the AGM, active paying members can review the IWCR annual report, elect and remove board members, amend IWCR articles (statutes), and adopt decisions on the termination, continuance or reorganization of the Association activities.
At least 1/3 of members must participate in the decisions of the AGM for decisions to be adopted. Members who cannot attend may participate through the representation of another member.

Executive Board Positions and Election
Each year, 5 executive board members must be elected. The chairperson/president and 4 other positions oversee the management and decisions of the club for the year.
Please consider getting involved by running for a board position, or by asking a fellow member who you think suits one of the roles to offer their skills. Member expertise is needed! Job descriptions are available here.
In order to run for an elected position, please download the application, complete and sign it, then send a copy to secretary@iwcr.lv no later than February 10, 2026. If you prefer, you can download a Google Doc application to complete it electronically. Send a photo of the signature page, along with your e-document to secretary@iwcr.lv.
