The International Women's Club of Riga hosts a monthly Morning Meet and Greet on the first Wednesday of the month 1000 - 1130.  Any and all ladies are welcome to join us for this event - bring a friend!  This is a wonderful opportunity for potential members and current members to come together to socialize and enjoy a cup of coffee.  The IWCR will share upcoming events, member announcements, and there will often be a representative from one of our charities to come and share an update with us.

Wednesday, October 7th - Join us for our Morning Meet and Greet at Lapsas Māja (second floor) in Centrs (Tērbatas iela 28). Arrive prior to 1000 to place your order for any desired beverage and food item - at either the first floor counter or by the server on the second floor. All orders and payments will go directly through the Lapsas Māja staff at menu pricing.

October's Charity Speaker: In October, Centrs Marta, a resource centre for women and children, including migrants and non-citizens, women who are victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, and children who are at risk of becoming victims of human trafficking, will be speaking at our Meet and Greet. The centre’s help varies from providing psychological help, legal counseling, help with shelter search, etc. Marta is actively fighting to enforce human rights and gender equality in Latvia.

October's Member Charity Donation Request: Please consider bringing a small donation of new hand cream, lip balm, small make-up items, cosmetics, etc. These items will be distributed to several charities that can use small cosmetics to gift their female constituents.

October Drawing: Consider signing up to host an event in September, October, or later in the Fall.  All those who host an event will have their names added to the lucky draw.  The winning prize is a free entry to a Fold and Flow Event with our very own IWCR Member Ilda, who is a Professional Organizer and KonMari Method™ Expert.
