Hurry hard! Join IWCR for a Curling Lesson and learn all about an Olympic winter sport that has been played since the 16th century! Curling is a precision team sport played on ice where players slide 19 kilogram granite stones, sourced only from Scotland, towards a circular target called the "house” with the assistance of teammates who sweep the stone down the ice sheet. This sport has been called chess on ice! Approximately forty-five minutes will be spent learning the sport with instructors who will provide the lesson in English. The remainder of the time will be spent curling. Hope to see you and interested family members (ages 10+) out to throw and sweep!
