Dzīvnieku pansija Ulubele was founding in 2005 to become a safe home for animals looking for their second chance at life. 11 IWCR community volunteers participated in a 2-hour training session to learn about and prepare for volunteer work at the shelter. These volunteers are now qualified to visit the shelter and walk the dogs who are so grateful for human interaction and exercise. Some volunteers may also work with cats, or do other tasks required by Ulubele.
