Dear Ladies,
we would like to offer to you to join for a small trip together with children from Ilguciems women’s prison. These children, up to age 4, live with their mothers in prison and have very limited chance to experience anything else, to go out. IWCR has been helping them many years now.
We will most probably take the children either to Jurmala or to the ZOO and we do need volunteers to help take care of the kids.
I know it is a very busy time by the end of school year and there are more things at IWCR planned that week or even the same day. This date was offered to us by the prison and we would like to take the opportunity to see the kids before summer. It has been a very long time.
Please let me know if you would like to join. We would meet June 1 at 10:00 at the prison (only those who will pick up kids) and then spend time with them until cca 14:00.
