This year, we will take our visitors and friends on a journey of various cross cultural experiences until February 2022. Due to the current situation we will not hold our traditional and popular International Christmas Bazaar.
We would like to invite everyone to our “International Christmas Journey 2021”, which is a beloved annual event in the community where the IWCR, embassies, businesses, charities and sponsors come together to raise funds for local charities in Latvia – supported by foreign ambassadors with their families, and a strong international community.
Online Auction – Christmas Shopping from Dec 6th until 12th
Bid on international experiences and valuable goods through an online bidding process just before the Christmas holidays.
The auction will be online for 7 days running from December 6th until December 12th.
Be quick to place your bids. Shop unique experiences, high valuable items – and enjoy the cultural diversity. Your bought items will be available for pick up at Riga Centers. Virtual IWCR Advent Calendar
Open a door every day from Dec 1st until 24th
The calendar takes you in a daily fun-filled journey which will certainly get you in the Christmas spirit! Each day takes you to a cultural experience around the world – recipes for traditional foods, master piece of music, a virtual travel tour, discounts to local experiences, or entrance tickets for local businesses.
We invite everyone to view the IWCR Advent Calendar for a voluntary donation of EUR 5. All the funds raised during the Christmas Journey 2021 goes to support our charities in Latvia

The International Christmas Journey is a credit to the tireless efforts of the IWCR, and International community, as well as the support from sponsors, local businesses and the embassies stationed in Riga. Their support is vital in raising funds to make a real difference in the lives of those in Latvia who need it most and to support the efforts of charities in Latvia. Every year, the IWCR has been able to raise a great deal of funds through its annual charity fundraisers, and I am confident that we will be able to do so again this year.

The IWCR Christmas Journey 2021 is this year main fundraising activity. All the funds raised at the Journey will be directed to charity projects in Latvia, with special attention to low-income families, young single mothers, children in need, the elderly, and victims of violence.
