Fitness by Online Workouts

The IWCR Charity Committee is coordinating a fitness program to get us in shape for spring. They have organized two activities to help the charities and challenge us to get in shape, also. We are invited to participate in a step challenge using a pedometer app and online exercise classes.

We invite you to support us in our efforts to raise funds for charities in Latvia. Each and every donation is greatly appreciated. When donating, please write the word “donation” or “fitness” in the description line to alert our treasurer.

This is being coordinated by Justin Griffiths–British PGA Golf Professional and Qualified Fitness Trainer. The second activity is an online exercise class with Justin working as our trainer. The classes will be held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings at 10:00 for 25 minute workout for the next few weeks.

The workout sessions will begin on Wednesday, March 17th at 10:00. Justin will send you the Zoom links for each class to those who have registered. To register for the online exercise classes, RSVP to your Memberplanet invitation that you will receive in a couple days.

Justin asks that each participant have a fitness mat, a weight of approximately 5 pounds (a bag of potatoes will work), and a fitness ball. He’ll make adjustments if that’s not possible.

These classes will be IWCR members only, so RSVP to join in the fun with friends that you haven’t seen in a long time. What a great way to get ready for spring!
