Donate to the IWCR

The IWCR members seek to raise funds to provide support and financial assistance for charities carefully selected each year. Our primary focus is on helping families, young mothers, the elderly and the abused both in Riga and the Latvian countryside.

IWCR asks for donations for those in need – we will carefully distribute the money for specific projects and needs. Each and every donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated and enables us to continue supporting these worthwhile and needy people and communities in the country we call ‘home’.

For our continued fund raising activities, we invite you to support us in our efforts to help the charities. Each and every donation is greatly appreciated.

At times like this, charities and non-profit organizations are often hit hardest. But fortunately, there are ways people can support others.

When you support IWCR, you support local charity associations in Latvia, and you help build brighter futures for people living in your community.

By working closely with the management and listening to the staff of these organisations, we aim to provide time, specific items or products which make a real difference to people’s day-to-day lives.

We invite you to support us

Corporate sponsors and donors, like yourself, are key in this effort to make our work a success. With your help, local organisations across Latvia are provided with financial support, and individual assistance.

IWCR Charity Work Become Part

Charity organizations we support

It is to out heart to work with truly needy organisations, or sometimes individuals. We help those in need with concrete actions, hands-on support at the location or by assessing the amount.

This year, we will take our visitors and friends on a journey of various cross-cultural experiences until February 2022.

Traveling is one of the best ways to enjoy the arts and the vibrant gradient of cultures from around the world. It lets us have that first-hand experience that can teach us and move us in many ways.

Together, we raise funds for local charities in Latvia – supported by foreign ambassadors with their families, and a strong international community.

Countdown to Christmas by unboxing an intercultural surprise every single day with the IWCR International Advent Calendar.

“I am very glad we are able to organize our annual fundraiser, even so it is a far different format this year. We invite you to be a tourist across the nations – while staying in Latvia. Culinary events, virtual travels, Christmas shopping, and social activities can at least fill a void. With our “International Christmas Journey” we want to offer the opportunity to enjoy cross-cultural experiences. And for most, we raise a significant amount of money with the support by our sponsors, the embassies stationed in Riga, the international community, and local businesses – to make a real difference in the lives of those in Latvia who need it most.” Kerstin Steinberg, President International Women’s Club of Riga.
