Dear ladies,
We are very pleased to announce IWCR’s first Charity Drive for 2021. Our charities are very excited and thankful that we can finally hold this for them. If you are currently clearing out your cupboards please think of how your items could be treasure for someone else. Donate your gently used clothes, kitchen items, towels, bed linen, toys, etc. to those in need. All the charities have expressed that more help was needed to those they support during this pandemic and they are very thankful for every donation they receive.
When is the Charity Drive
Date: Friday 28th May, 2021
Time: 10AM – 1PM
Please note we have a NEW Address: Zvejnieku iela 1 – korpuss 11 (across the street from the former International School of Riga), Kurzemes rajons, Kipsala, Riga
(parking available just in front of the property or across the road in a parking lot for quick use only)
This year’s delivery procedure
1/ In order to comply with the current rules, we will run this year’s charity drive with only a small team, wearing masks, keeping distance and washing hands regularly.
2/ Please label all your boxes or bags to the best you can indicating what is inside (like children’s clothes / boy / age 2-4) or sort in similar age groups or items together where possible (shoes in one bag / kitchen items in another).
3/ Drive up to the property and we will come to collect the bags or boxes from you.
4/ Please, do not deliver large items (bicycles, home appliances, furniture, etc.), however we are interested in them. In case, you want to donate large objects, kindly contact us by emailing to: charity.iwcr@gmail.com to arrange individual pick-up/drop-off.
Please note that you will not be allowed to enter the building.

Main items needed are:
– summer and winter clothes for all – baby, children, teenager, women and men
– shoes all sizes
– bed linen
– sports equipment (balls, skates, bikes, helmets)
– all type of school supplies
– board games
– colouring in books
– toys
