Early in 2012, Natalie set up a baby group for IWCR members, and we formed a nice playgroup – meeting weekly and informally and free of charge.
It was not only nice to see our children develop (by mostly crawling or running after them) but also meeting other mothers, exchanging information and having a schedule: play time, snack time, singing… The International School of Riga (ISR) has great facilities and they offer us a fully equipped room full of toys and books.
Weekly meetings will be this semester on Wednesdays from 9.15 until 11.15 a.m. (not during school holidays!) If the weather allows, we might also spend some time outside on the playground after 11.15 a.m.
If you are interested, please send an e-mail to social.iwcr@gmail.com and I will send out further information on how to get there etc. Please also let me know the age of your kid(s). Everyone from new-born to toddler is welcome, but there is no guarantee of always having kids in exactly the same age…
