Dear Ladies, Families and Friends!!!
It’s time for the next IWCR Potluck Lunch.

The Potluck Lunch will be on Saturday, 4 September at 12.00.

Please be sure to come to this special event that is kindly hosted by Mariette Kraak in her lovely house and garden in Kipsala.  Special activities, including a Treasure Hunt, are being planned for children, so please bring them with you.  Friends and newcomers are especially welcome.

Bring a dish for 6-8 to share and beverages for your group. The club will take care of plates, cups, utensils, etc.   Mariette will make coffee and tea for all.

Cost is 8 LVL per person or 15 LVL per family.

The lunch is both an opportunity to share your recipes and get together for a few hours as well as a chance to support charity.

The Charity Committee will decide which charity will receive the money raised. 

You are welcome to gather in national groups and prepare special national dishes if you would like to.  Leftovers will be donated to charity.

We look forward to seeing you all and to spending some nice and fun hours together.

REMEMBER that IWCR fundraisers support Charity! Read more here. With each 40 santimes we raise, we are able to buy a meal for someone at one of the soup kitchens we support, or help the community in a wide variety of projects. Keep eating lunch, so others can eat lunch too!  

Ostas Skati hosted a fabulous lunch for our group in August.  This popular restaurant in Kipsala has fine views across the Daugava - even in the rain!

Our thanks to the fabulous Restaurant "Elements" at the Tallink Hotel, Elizabetes iela, 24, which hosted our delicious June lunch.  Here is a map showing its' location.
