A large number of our Members were treated to a wonderful, festive concert on 10th January, featuring pupils and staff of Teika Orphanage.  They wanted to thank the IWCR and other organisations who have helped and supported them throughout 2011 and music was their special way to do this.

We were certainly warmly welcomed and entertained by fine voices, lively and enthusiastic percussion and happy, smiling faces!  Soloist, Janis, and other members of the Teika 'band' then enjoyed a tea party, with cakes provided by our Club members.

A handmade, embroidered card of thanks, featuring a special poem, was presented by one of the students to our President, Marina Le Clere (shown in full in the pdf below.)
